Counterswarm: privacy policy
In short: the game does not collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no adverts and no analytics. Your game progress stays on your device.
Who we are
Counterswarm is made by Machine Quotient Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17444151), registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.
What the game stores
The game saves your progress (the stars you have earned), your settings (music and sound volume) and whether you have unlocked the full campaign. These are saved only in the game's private storage on your device. We never receive them, and they are deleted when you uninstall the game.
Information we collect
None. The game has no sign-in, does not ask for your name or email address, and contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services.
Purchases
The optional one-time purchase that unlocks the full campaign is handled entirely by Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not see your payment details; the game only receives confirmation from Google Play that the purchase belongs to your account, so it can unlock the campaign and restore it if you reinstall.
Internet access and permissions
The game uses an internet connection only to talk to Google Play for that purchase. It does not use your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
Children
The game does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
